Boston Children's Chorus harnesses the power of music to unite the city's diverse young people and inspire social change. Founded in 2003 by Hubie Jones, BCC enrolls hundreds of singers ages 7-18 from more than 100 ZIP codes across Greater Boston in tuition-supported choirs that rehearse in Roxbury, Dorchester, and other neighborhood sites. Singers perform at venues including Symphony Hall, the Strand Theatre, and the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Tribute Concert. The organization combines rigorous musical training with leadership development, equity workshops, and international touring opportunities, welcoming applications from young singers each spring and fall.
