Boston Baroque is North America's first permanent Baroque orchestra, founded in 1973 by Martin Pearlman. Performing on period instruments at Jordan Hall and GBH's Calderwood Studio, the ensemble has earned multiple GRAMMY nominations for its recordings of Monteverdi, Handel, Bach, and Mozart. The organization offers a full subscription season, livestreamed concerts, and educational outreach including student matinees, masterclasses, and pre-concert talks.
