Friends of Belle Isle Marsh is a volunteer organization dedicated to the stewardship of the Belle Isle Marsh Reservation, the last remaining salt marsh in the City of Boston. The 152-acre reservation straddles East Boston, Winthrop, and Revere and is a critical habitat for migratory birds and coastal species. The Friends host regular marsh cleanups, guided bird walks, and educational programs for school groups, and advocate for the marsh's long-term protection alongside DCR and partner nonprofits.
