The Friends of Fresh Pond Reservation is a member-supported nonprofit that supports the stewardship of Cambridge's 162-acre Fresh Pond Reservation. The reservation, anchored by the Fresh Pond drinking water reservoir, includes a 2.25-mile perimeter loop trail used daily by runners, walkers, and birders. The Friends offer free guided nature walks, bird walks, and educational events year-round, and partner with the Cambridge Water Department on long-term ecological restoration of the reservation.
