Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester (BGCD) is a 50+ year youth development organization serving thousands of young people each year out of its Marr Clubhouse on Deer Street, its Denney Clubhouse in Fields Corner, and the Elihu Greenwood Leadership Academy. Programs span early education, after-school care, teen leadership, college and career readiness, mental health, arts, swimming, and a full slate of athletics. BGCD members have access to gyms, pools, music studios, art rooms, and computer labs, plus structured sports leagues in basketball, hockey, baseball, volleyball, and soccer. Membership is intentionally kept low-cost or free so every Dorchester family can participate.
