More Than Words is a youth-run nonprofit social enterprise that empowers young people ages 16-24 who are in the foster care system, court-involved, homeless, or out of school to take charge of their lives by taking charge of a business. Youth run two bookstore-cafes — in Boston's South End and Waltham — selling donated and curated books online and in-store. The community supports the mission by donating books (free pickup available across Greater Boston), shopping in the stores, attending events, or signing up to mentor youth workers in life skills and career readiness.
