Jazz Attack is Philadelphia's home for Lindy Hop and swing dance — a 501(c)3 nonprofit run entirely by volunteers who love sharing the joy of vernacular jazz. Every Thursday night features a beginner lesson starting at 8pm (no partner or experience required) followed by two hours of social dancing until 11pm, with a live jazz band performing once a month. The club welcomes everyone from total newcomers to seasoned dancers, and offers multiple levels of classes in Lindy Hop, Charleston, Balboa, Solo Jazz, and Blues. Jazz Attack also hosts the beloved annual Jazz Town exchange with Baltimore's Mobtown Ballroom.
