Boston Frontrunners is the city's LGBTQ+ running and walking club, part of the international Frontrunners network. The group has welcomed runners of all paces, abilities, and identities since the 1980s, meeting year-round for social runs on the Esplanade and group long runs on weekends. Weekly Saturday morning runs start at the Arthur Fiedler statue and finish with coffee, while Tuesday evening runs explore neighborhoods across the city. The club fields teams at the Pride 5K, Falmouth Road Race, and many local events, and is one of the most welcoming entry points to Boston's running community for new arrivals.
