Young Members (“YM”) is an affinity group within AMC for members in their 20s and 30s. The New York-North Jersey Chapter’s YM hold regular outdoor events (e.g., day hikes, camping trips, kayaking trips) and happy hours. We also organize weekends at the Corman AMC Harriman Outdoor Center , the Fire Island Cabin , in addition to ski trips. A few times a year, we hold inter-chapter events with YM groups from the 11 other chapters in our organization. If you’re interested in the outdoors and are looking to make new friends, then please come to one of our events. Please note that both members and non-members of any age are welcome to join our Young Members group.
